Dr. Nedra Chaouachi

Hello! I started at Parkwest in January 2022 and I love being here and the people I work with!

I was born and raised in Tunisia, a small Mediterranean country in North Africa.  The animal world fascinated me since my childhood. This world that communicates with us without speaking. I became interested in trying to understand the needs and sufferings of this world by offering help.

I studied veterinary medicine in the only national veterinary Tunisian School “The National school of veterinary Medicine” of Sidi-Thabet, Tunisia. I worked as a rural veterinarian for seven years in Algeria then went back to Tunisia to finish studying. I trained in Tunisia and France then obtained my specialty in veterinary surgery. Surgery is fascinating to me, and I enjoyed having students to teach and share my passion.

I came to Canada in July 2020, in the middle of a pandemic as a proficient immigrant with my two daughters and 4 pets.

A little something about myself: I was a successful volley-ball player and a swimmer in the Tunisian national team. I love Nature and its creatures, taking care of animals and giving good and positive vibes to people.
