Dr. Kelsey Gouthro

Although born and raised in Canada, I recently graduated from Ross University, a veterinary school in the Caribbean, in January of 2023. I developed an interest in small animal medicine including soft tissue surgery and enjoyed shelter medicine.

I joined the team in March of this year and am looking forward to improving the wellbeing and health of   the furry family members of the West Edmonton community.

What I love about my job is getting the opportunity to advocate for pets and steer pet owners in the right direction when it comes to the preventative care and treatment of their pet.

My favorite thing about Parkwest is how my team members have great relationships with the clients and animals as well as with each other, and are always willing to help where is needed.

My spare time is spent with a loving old Island mutt named Indie, who is a shepherd mix that I adopted from the university I attended. She stole my heart when I saw her in the isolation kennel, and knew I had to take her home with me!

I understand how important the human-animal bond is, and I look forward to helping you develop that with your pet.
